What is Beautiful Savior? Beautiful SAVIOR is a group of people just like you, sharing life’s joys and bearing its burdens. We get our name from Jesus Christ—God who became human to live and die under God’s law to save us from our greatest problem, and to help us with all the rest.
It does get ugly in this world, in our homes, and in our minds. But it got ugly for our Beautiful SAVIOR, too. As Isaiah 53 tells us, “He was crushed for the guilt our sins deserved....and by his wounds we are healed.” Jesus let it get really ugly for Him on the cross so that we could be forgiven of all our ugly sins.
Through faith in Him, His perfect sacrifice becomes ours to enjoy. When God looks at us, He sees Jesus: innocent, perfect, and beautiful.
He is Beautiful because he made us beautiful to God. Our church is a place of people gathered by Him who care a lot about you. Come on by to meet people made beautiful by grace and a Beautiful SAVIOR who has life-changing words to teach, encourage, strengthen, comfort, and help you!
• The Triune God: There is only one true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 17:3, Matthew 28:19).
• Creation: God created everything in heaven and earth, including all human life (Genesis 1-2).
• Sin and Condemnation: Since the Fall, all people are born sinful and continue to sin in thought, word, and deed, deserving both physical and eternal death (Psalms. 51:5, Romans 3:23, 6:23).
• Jesus Christ the Savior: Out of love, God sent His eternal Son, Jesus, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died as the perfect sacrifice to pay for our sins and declare us not guilty (John 3:16, Luke 1:34-37, Romans 4:25).
• The Resurrection: Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, guaranteeing eternal life to all who believe in Him (Matthew 28, John 11:25-26).
• Justification by Faith: We receive God’s forgiveness and grace purely through faith in Jesus, entirely apart from our own good works (Romans 3:28).
• The Gift of Faith: Faith is a gift from God, created in us through Holy Baptism and His Word (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7, 1 Peter 1:23).
• Christian Living: Believers are called to live lives of thanks and praise to God for His free gift of salvation (Ephesians. 2:10).
• The Holy Scriptures: The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God—our infallible guide for faith, life, and salvation (2 Timothy 3:15-16, 1 Peter 1:23).
